Donna DellaCamera was born with a passion and love for the arts, which has fueled many of Donna’s artistic endeavors. Donna’s mom, Margaret (who is also an artist), encouraged Donna’s creativity from an early age. Donna holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with honors from Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut; she attended Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York City. After college, Donna spent time working in New York City, the city she loves and the setting for “Fritz Goes to the Ritz”. Central Park is Donna’s happy place. Donna aspires to impress upon her readers young or old the importance of humility and giving back. Donna enjoys volunteering, galleries, theater, and equestrian sports. Moreover, what Donna enjoys most is being the proud pet mom to Fritz, the real life Havachin pup no one wanted. Donna and Fritz currently reside in Connecticut. Sharon DellaCamera is a New Haven, CT native and has worked in area universities and for nonprofit organizations as well. Education and helping others hold a special interest to her. Previously she has written several short stories and poems but her first published work was Fritz Goes to the Ritz. She continues to work on writing. Her next project will focus on a cat named Ginger and a young girl named Mia, who is a selective mute.
